Gollum also supports DLSS 2 upscaling, DLSS 3 Frame Generation, and FSR 2 upscaling. Blackjack is still the easiest way to earn money quickly, and roulette is still a chore, taking far too long per turn. I’m not sure if I’m imagining things, but Poker didn’t seem all that random, as I was able to start predicting the cards I’d get pairs of by the time I finished playing. The poker table’s text is low resolution with visible jaggies the same can be said for the background. The reuse of assets from Xteme 2 seems to be a common occurrence, as the backgrounds in the casino are essentially identical. It seems like the movement animations from Xtreme 2 are reused here, as the girls stiffly run around with their arms held at 90-degree angles. While it is the most engaging gameplay in the game, it isn’t much more advanced than volleyball games from the NES era. Volleyball, the mainstay of the series, is the same as it has always been, that is to say, it’s very basic. Even after nine hours with the game, I found myself ending up in the pool occasionally no matter how careful I was. The button presses are just as sensitive as before, meaning you’ll end up in the pool more often than not. You’ll be mindlessly pressing buttons as displayed on top of ugly floating platforms that look lower-resolution than anything else on screen at the time. The pool hopping mini-game is back and essentially unchanged. Flag races play like the 100-meter dash in Track & Field: Mash X when the game says go and you win. Helms can get some good rolls and also two sockets i you get lucky (I run 8 accounts so, she has 8 socket quests). Belts can get up to 60ish life or something. For reference you can shop 24 hit recover and 30 res armor and then hopefully get two sockets to make some really nice armor. This is because you are pretty squishy until you can shop some decent gear in Act 5 and then you are squishy in NM. Once I leave work to actually play, I don't check reddit and I had Monday off. I see a lot of ideal layouts here, but when playing Hardcore Extreme planet it is rarely turning out that perfect. Psynumbra/Celestian empowered Psy-Fish are way scarier than any Autonom stack imo. Reactive Shielding is the best anti-ranged mod you can use early on if you have mechs or cyborgs, and Void Bullets is crazy good if you happen to use firearms.īut I'd still value strong synergies over well-rounded factions. Combat Protocol Implants are good on almost any Infantry units if you have an empty mod space. The Forgotten, despite the obvious synergy with the Heritor Secret tech also provide very solid units that can fit in most armies.Īs for mods, I believe the Paragon offer the most well rounded ones. They even give you a mod to link other units with them if you so wish. They would be my default choice, just because creating an Autonom stack is already crazy good with their own mods and units. I always try and choose based on my build or strategy, but other than that I'd say Autonoms are the most well rounded. I'm not sure, I think they are mostly situational.
